Hey Sifu, I couldn’t wait to write to you about what happened tonight. I was on my way to work on the bus when about an hour ago I was walking down the street on my cell phone. Four gangsters across the street from the hospital I work at were hitting me up and looking mean at me. I stopped and made eye contact. With the fine conversation and the cars n stuff I was not really paying attention to them so when they were talking I said "What's up" They ran across the street and tried to surround me.

I put my phone in my pocket and backed up two or three steps so that they wouldn’t surround me. One of them came up close enough to touch me but words still hadn't been exchanged. I put my arm up like don’t come any closer. They walked away while I was walking backwards the other way. Then I took my phone out and started talking on it. They walked back up to me and I guess they thought I was calling my homies are something. It was my wife hahaha. She was like, whats going on. One of them swung at me from behind the other guy and I used Chasing Shadow. I hit the closest one and he dropped. Then I ran like 30 or 40 feet and turned around and they were still helping the guy up. They were yelling....He hit Mikey...He can't be hitting Mikey like that. I just stood there and watched to see what they were going to do but they were still shocked.

The story doesn’t end there, they walked away up the hill. I went the other way and called my wife and told her I was going to call u. I walked one street further down so I wouldn’t run into them again. But they were at the next bus stop. I saw the guy I hit. He had a big bruise on his face and he looked kind of groggy and bewildered, this is 15 minutes later. then I tried to walk the other way and the biggest one saw me and I ran. He ran after me and I tried to get on the bus fast and close the door but the lady wouldn’t open it. So I turned around and ran straight at them. I hit the last guy in the face a few times and he grabbed my sleeve. By this time I was tired and I was just moving around and hopping around so they couldn’t hit me. They never hit me in the face because my hands were up. When I was so tired I couldn’t run anymore I was trying to think what master chen would do. Hahaha...None of their shots really hurt me like they would if I did not have your iron body conditioning, even at my level.

Then when I was tired, Just like our training I was totally calm and not even scared. My training took over just like when I knocked the first guy out. I just covered my face. They were kicking and punching me as hard as they could. At More than 30 or 40 times. Four on one. I just hunched up and kept moving until they ran away. I brushed myself off, I stood there a minute to catch my breath then I walked up the hill to work. That’s where I am now. I have minor bruises on my face and my hands are throbbing. My shoulder is a little sore but I have no cuts or scrapes and no black eyes.

The cops stopped me on the way because someone called them. They asked me if I want to press charges but I told them I didn’t. I am still amazed at this whole experience 45 minutes ago. I could have been killed. I stayed calm through the whole thing. I am grateful that I have had the chance to train with you these past 5 years. Three years indoor. This night taught me a few things. And now I have a new respect for you and master chen and Sum Neng.....multiple opponents is no joke. Its very real. Fast. Dangerous. This has made me want to train even harder and I take this as a learning experience. Ten on one with weapon? Man your crazy. 12 on one with weapon, Sum Neng was even crazier.
